Terminal is a terminal emulator built for the Xfce desktop environment using GTK+. It is provided as part of the Xfce project, but it can be used in other X Window System environments as well. Terminal supports tabs, as well as customizable key bindings, colors, and window sizes.〔Main site: http://www.xfce.org/projects/terminal/〕 It was designed to replace GNOME Terminal, which depends on the GNOME libraries.〔http://www.os-cillation.de/open-source-projekte/xfce-terminal/?L=5 (German)〕 Like GNOME Terminal, it is based on the Vte terminal emulator library.〔http://git.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-terminal/tree/README〕 The Arch/Debian/Ubuntu package name for Terminal is xfce4-terminal. ==Features〔http://docs.xfce.org/apps/terminal/introduction〕== * Multiple tabs per window * Customizable toolbars, which can be changed using an integrated graphical toolbar editor * Ability to configure nearly every aspect of Terminal in the Preferences dialog. Additionally there are hidden options, not accessible via the GUI. * Good integration with the Xfce desktop environment in particular, but also with every other Linux desktop * Session management support * Real multihead support (both MultiScreen and Xinerama mode) * Standards compliance (freedesktop.org) * D-BUS based terminal service facility to minimize the overall resource usage * High degree of maintainability by making use of GTK+ and GObject. * Dropdown support (slide down from the top of the screen when a key is pressed) * Compact mode (where both the menubar and the window decorations are hidden) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Terminal (Xfce)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
